Goede Daad Nr. 334

I visited the International School of the Hague to talk to the 7th years about kindness and about my 365 good deed project. I can get kinda nervous when talking to an audience, but at the same time i was really looking forward to this!\r\n\r\nIMG_1078\r\n\r\nExciting!\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nIMG_1079\r\n\r\nThe day before the workshops, i went out and did one of my favorite good deeds (buying flowers for a stranger) and taped it, to show to the kids.\r\n\r\n(I gotta admit, i didn’t expect my face to be so.. in your face. 😉 )\r\n\r\nIMG_1082\r\n\r\nWe brainstormed together about good deeds to do around the classroom. The kids had great ideas and really put in effort to do the exercises we did together!\r\n\r\nIMG_1081\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nI was amazed at the ideas they came up with and all the nice things they had to say about each other!\r\n\r\nAs it turns out, the ISH already does a lot of ‘good deeds’ in terms of supporting charity, raising awareness (there were kids running up and down the corridor with mustaches drawn on their upper lip because of Movember), filling shoe boxes with school supplies for children in need, etc. I was really impressed with the level of commitment from both the teachers and the students!\r\n\r\nIMG_1080\r\n\r\nSo, all in all, a very inspirational day with these cool & kind kids and their teachers. Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Hope to see you again!\r\n\r\nMalou\r\n\r\n
